Intro
Club Penguin hacking: Some people are immediately turned off from it and seem to think it’s always evil or something. It actually technically means writing code. Others just want in as soon as they hear the word. Most people who do it don’t even know what exactly they’re doing, just following instructions trying to feel cool. The anti CP hacking advocates clearly don’t know what they’re talking about, just going around like angels bashing something they can’t even understand. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not here to promote hacking, or get people to stop for that matter. I just want to make you understand so that we can avoid a world filled with people trying to be cool or giving misinformation or just plain screwing things up. Stop the instant suck-uplyness to not hacking that so many people on so many other CP fansites show. This quote is from a website that has hacking tools for serious, real world hackers. My penguin name is Trump6, and I’m zud3652’s older brother. I’m 13 and have never taken a computer class that taught me anything in my life. I’ve taught myself everything I know. I’m hoping to enlighten you a bit on the CP hacking thing and clear up a lot.
SWFs
This is not really a hack in any way, but some people seem to think it is, so here goes. Club Penguin is created with flash. This is a kind of interactive animation that can be embedded in web pages. Too see and use it you need a flash player, which is what you downloaded when you started playing CP or if you ever needed flash before that. Now, Club Penguin isn’t just one giant flash file that you download and play. It is many, many flash files (SWFs) that are requested as needed, as you play. All the SWFs are hosted somewhere where they can be downloaded from. If we find the direct links to these files, they can be viewed individually. For instance, this is how you play club penguin really big; by accessing the SWF that is the login screen. ( http://play.clubpenguin.com/load.swf ) This is how I let you guys read the newspaper without logging into cp (Every time there is a new newspaper post). Decompiling
Again, this isn’t really a hack, but people seem to think it is. Now, like I said before, CP is made out of lots of SWFs. SWFs are lots of “elements” compressed into one file. Take apart the file, then you can see exactly what CP is made of. You need a flash decompiling program to do this. If you want one, put “Flash decompiler trillix” into Google. This is mostly used for predicting future events/items and finding secrets in catalogs etc. Here are some pictures to give you an idea of what I mean. Click the pictures to make them bigger. Packet Sniffing (With WPE Pro)
Everything on the internet moves in packets. They are little bits of information that go from place to place, in this case, from you to CP and from CP to you. The way WPE pro works is by you earning coins, and then it stops the packet that says how much money you earned, changes it to say you earned much more, and then sends it on its way. Then when CP receives it they think you earned all that money. Since this does not do anything that might tip off CP that you’re cheating, you will not get banned. Trainers
Trainers are programs made to automate cheats that would normally take a long time/a lot of work. They are usually made with a program called visual basic which lets you make other programs. Probably the most famous trainers are the “CP Trainers.” They are made by a penguin named Sanity Penguin. He started the entire Club penguin hacking thing. In fact, he also made up the myth that if you stood in the Dojo for 30 minutes, etc. you would become a ninja. (This was based in fact, as ninjas were originally planed for CP which explains all the evidence.) See our Ninjas page for more information. Anyway, lots of people downloaded the program, so he made CP Trainer 2, and then 3. There are lots of other people out there making trainers now. Most don’t even work. There is another program out there called CP money maker (moneymaker.exe) It does get you money but at the expense of giving you a virus. If you use an antivirus program to delete the virus money maker won’t work. Anything I’ve talked about here can be downloaded by just searching for it on google.
